Hi, I’m Manuel—a portrait photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I genuinely enjoy photographing people. Each session is a chance to connect, even briefly—to hear about where they’re from, what they love, where they’ve been, and what brought them to Utah. Some are just passing through; others have spent their whole lives here and wouldn’t dream of leaving. Either way, I love learning a little about each person I photograph.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside a wide range of photographers in the commercial space, learning and shaping my own approach to portraiture. Like many, I’ve photographed my fair share of weddings, but today my focus is on portraits and headshots for local companies and small business owners throughout the valley.

One of the most rewarding parts of photography is meeting someone new nearly every time I pick up the camera—and sometimes, those quick sessions turn into long-lasting relationships.
